Iranian President Raisi postpones visit to Turkey due to terrorist attack on Kerman cemetery
Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi postponed his official visit to Turkey due to the terrorist attack on a cemetery in Kerman. This is stated in a statement from the administration of Turkish President Recep Erdogan.
The visit was supposed to take place on January 4. However, after the terrorist attack, this date was declared a day of mourning in Iran.
“President Erdogan strongly condemned the terrorist attack against civilians and stated that Turkey is on the side of Iran in the fight against terrorism,” Erdogan’s Office emphasized.
Erdogan and Raisi agreed to postpone the visit to another date.
