Iran sentences another protester to death

Iran’s Supreme Court has sentenced another protester in the country to death. It is reported by Tasnim agency. It is noted that the sentence was handed down to Mohammad Borugani.
It is said that the perpetrator deliberately injured one of the security officers with a knife. It is also reported that Borugani set fire to the prefectural building of the city of Pakdasht, which is located in the southeast of Tegher province.
The text of the verdict states that the accused, by his actions, “created an atmosphere of fear and insecurity for citizens.” It is noted that before that, at least six protesters were given capital punishment.
Recall that mass protests swept across Iran after the death of 22-year-old Mahsa Amini. According to her family, the cause of death was that she was beaten by law enforcement officers.
