He also added that the country is ready to supply gas to Pakistan, a pipeline with a capacity of 100 million cubic meters per day is already being built to the border.
In October, Novshadi announced that Tehran would supply 40 gas turbines to Moscow as part of a relevant agreement. According to him, 85% of the equipment and facilities necessary for the functioning of the gas industry are produced in Iran.
The Fars agency, citing a report from the Iranian Oil Ministry, also reported that the country is going to buy 9 million cubic meters from Russia. m of gas daily. According to the publication, Russia will supply such volumes to the republic through Azerbaijan. In addition, it is planned to purchase 6 million cubic meters. m of liquefied natural gas (LNG) per day for swap supplies to other countries. An agreement on such volumes was reached within the framework of a memorandum on energy cooperation signed in July for $40 billion.
