Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Ali Bagheri Kyani held talks with diplomats from Britain, France and Germany in Oslo. This was reported by the IRNA agency.
The main topic of the talks was the restoration of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA). From the side of the European states, the diplomats of the Foreign Ministries of England, France and Germany, as well as the Deputy Head of the European Union Foreign Service Enrique Mora, took part in the negotiations.
Recall that in 2015, the United Kingdom, Germany, China, Russia, the United States, France and Iran signed a nuclear deal – the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA). In accordance with it, sanctions were lifted from Iran in exchange for the refusal to implement most of the nuclear program. But in 2018, the United States withdrew from the JCPOA, after which Iran also returned to the implementation of the nuclear program.
