Iranian security forces have identified the manufacturer of drones that attacked a military facility in the city of Isfahan. This was reported by the Iranian agency ISNA, citing sources close to the Supreme National Security Council of Iran.
The analysis of the hull, engine and navigation system of one of the UAVs left after the attack allowed the national security staff to establish the manufacturer. At the same time, the manufacturer of the drone is not given in the note.
On January 29, in the Iranian city of Isfahan, three combat drones attacked the facilities of the country’s Ministry of Defense. During the repulse of the attack, one drone was shot down, and the remaining two fell into defensive traps and exploded. Iran’s defense ministry called the attack “unsuccessful” in a statement.
Iran did not officially report suspected attackers, but The Wall Street Journal, citing US officials, called Israel involved in the attack. In addition, Iran expressed suspicion that one of the countries involved in the attack could be Ukraine.
