Iranian Foreign Ministry: missile attack on Israel was self-defense
The Iranian Foreign Ministry in its official Telegram channel called the missile attacks on Israel self-defense. The Foreign Ministry noted that additional measures will be taken to protect Iran’s interests if the need arises.
The Iranian military used the right to defend itself, prescribed in Article 5 of the UN Charter, according to the Foreign Ministry.
Tehran insists that the self-defense of any state indicates its responsible approach to its own security and the security of neighboring countries.
On the night of Sunday, April 14, Iran attacked Israeli territory with kamikaze drones. It was reported that Israel was attacked not only from Iran, but also from other states, including Yemen.
