Iran announces plans to impose retaliatory sanctions against the EU

Iran’s imposition of retaliatory sanctions against the European Union was announced on Wednesday by Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian.
This was reported by Tasnim agency.
The sanctions list will include at least 15 individuals from among EU officials and 4 organizations.
According to the ISNA agency, we are talking about those who played a role in the introduction of anti-Iranian restrictions.
Earlier it was reported that the European Commission will discuss at the EU summit on October 20-21 a draft of new sanctions against Tehran for allegedly supplying drones to Moscow.
Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kanaani said the new EU sanctions against a number of Iranian individuals and entities are “interference” in the country’s internal affairs.
