Investigative Committee promised to investigate the shelling of the Belgorod region with cluster munitions

The Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia will conduct an investigation into new attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Belgorod region and Donetsk. About it reported in the department’s Telegram channel.
They noted that as a result of the attack on the Petrovsky and Kuibyshevsky districts of Donetsk, three women were injured. In addition, the Armed Forces of Ukraine fired cluster munitions at the village of Urazovo in the Belgorod region. Six people were injured, and several houses and cars were also damaged.
The UK promised to establish the circumstances of the incident and give a legal assessment of the actions of the persons involved.
On August 26, the Governor of the Belgorod Region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, reported that cluster munitions had been shelled in the village of Urazovo, Valuysky Urban District. Initially, it was known about four victims, but soon their number increased up to six. Gladkov clarified that one man is “in an extremely serious condition.”
Earlier today, Donetsk was also shelled several times by Ukraine. As a result, three women born in 1930, 1951 and 1970 were injured. By data mayor of the city Alexei Kulemzin, one of the shells hit a private house in the Kuibyshev region, after which a fire broke out.
On July 7, the White House announced the transfer of cluster munitions to Kyiv. Washington said Ukraine had provided the United States with written assurances that the ammunition would be used “with care.”
