Interfax: The Ministry of Economic Development did not approve the idea of ​​creating a list of gasoline exporters

The Ministry of Economic Development opposed the idea of ​​the Ministry of Energy to create a list of exporters of petroleum products as a measure to combat gray exports. About it informed Interfax, citing sources.

Instead, the Ministry of Economic Development proposed the introduction of export licensing, which would avoid the need to publish export companies and their agents. At the same time, the Ministry of Energy believes that licensing will lead to the fact that it will be difficult in practice to track the activities of a large number of licensors.

July 24 media reportedthat the Ministry of Energy came up with a proposal to limit the list of oil refineries (ORs) that will be allowed to supply fuel for export. Interfax wrotethat this measure “may become the basis for the introduction of quotas.”

June 30, Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak instructed work out quotas for exports of oil products from Russia. It was also noted that the Ministry of Energy, together with the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS), will need to take measures to prevent the gray export of petroleum products. It was reported that the departments should submit these proposals and prepare the draft documents necessary to prevent gray exports by August 3.

On July 21, the Deputy Prime Minister announced that the government developed a number of proposals that will help stabilize stock prices for gasoline. He noted that in the near future several refineries will be out of repair, which will increase the supply of fuel on the exchange.

AI-92 and AI-95 gasoline has updated several records in recent weeks. In particular, on July 20, their value on the stock exchange exceeded 63,000 rubles/ton and 69,000 rubles/ton. respectively. As of August 3, the cost of AI-92 at the St. Petersburg International Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange amounted to 63,327 rubles/t, AI-95 – 68,832 rubles/t.
