Intelligence success: experts evaluate the strike on the Ukrainian Armed Forces artillerymen in Dimitrovo

The Ukrainian army continues to count the losses suffered by artillerymen of two brigades as a result of a Russian missile attack in Dimitrovo, Zaporozhye region. A video from a Russian drone appeared on the social network, where the fact of arrival was recorded. According to experts, this indicates that the ability of Russian intelligence to view the rear of Ukraine has increased significantly.
According to various sources, as a result of the attack on the location of the 128th mountain assault and 65th mechanized brigades on November 3, the number of wounded has already exceeded 200 people. Several dozen military personnel died, who were gathered in one place for formation on the occasion of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Artillery Day. Messages appeared on Ukrainian social networks about farewells to the officers killed in Dimitrovo. Among them, in particular, Colonel Vladimir Vozny, Major Sergei Kuznev, Captain Dmitry Milyutin, Senior Lieutenant Pyotr Trofimenko.
Milyutin, with the call sign “Taxi Driver,” by the way, was considered one of the best artillerymen. He has been shelling Donbass since 2014.
Assessing the strike, military observer Andrei Medvedev drew attention to the circumstances surrounding it. As he noted in his channel, “such a strike is not possible without clear preliminary reconnaissance work” and “without confirmation of the arrival of enemy personnel at the point.”
According to him, the picture from the drone, which apparently conducted surveillance and aimed the missile, is of very high quality. Everything was filmed from a long distance and in high resolution. “Apparently, the enemy’s electronic warfare and air defense do not see him,” Medvedev concluded. All this, he noted, shows that “the Russian army is fighting completely differently than even six months ago.”
The resource “Military Chronicle” noted that the temporary deployment point of the Ukrainian army in Dimitrov was located only 30 km from the Rabotino-Verbovoe section, where fighting continues. That is, the entire frontline zone is under the surveillance of Russian drones and other reconnaissance means.
According to the channel, the targets were hit over an area of approximately two football fields.
