The government will reduce insurance premiums for individual entrepreneurs in the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics (DNR and LNR), Zaporozhye and Kherson regions. This follows from the amendments to the second reading of the bill with changes to the Tax Code. Forbes.

The amendments suggest that fixed insurance premiums will be established for individual entrepreneurs in the annexed regions: 14,400 rubles. in 2023, 25,200 rubles. in 2024, 36,000 rubles. in 2025. They will reach the all-Russian level from 2026.

IP insurance premiums consist of two parts: fixed (established by law every year) and additional – 1% of income over 300 thousand rubles. The fixed part must be paid, even if the individual entrepreneur does not operate and does not receive income.

The Ministry of Economy confirmed to Forbes that the bill offers reduced insurance premiums for compulsory medical and pension insurance for individual entrepreneurs in the DPR, LPR, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions. “The bill concerns only insurance premiums paid by individual entrepreneurs for themselves,” the press service added.

From the day the four regions joined Russia on September 30 until the end of 2022, a transitional tax regime was in effect on their territory. From 2023, all federal taxes began to be collected in full. Residents of these regions with IP status on the day of joining Russia had to re-register with the tax authorities of the Russian Federation before June 30.
