Rustekhdron reported carpet bombing of Ukrainian Armed Forces positions by Inferno drones
According to the development company Rustekhdron, the Russian military in some areas in the North Military District zone began using special Inferno drone bombers to carry out carpet bombing of positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). These drones are equipped with nine grenade-dropping slots and can perform combat missions by flying over Ukrainian trenches and dropping grenades in bursts of three.
A company representative noted that such bombings are similar to carpet bombing in large aviation and lead to losses of enemy personnel. In addition, Inferno is capable of effectively destroying lightly armored vehicles.
This UAV has a range of 5 km and its survivability is enhanced by the presence of a downward-facing bombing camera, which allows it to drop bombs on the move. The Rustekhdron company has already sent “hundreds” of such drones to the North Military District zone for use by Russian units.
