Inflation in Russia from September 19 to 25 amounted to 0.28%. Since the beginning of September, consumer prices in Russia have increased by 0.6%, since the beginning of the year – by 4.32%. About it reported Rosstat.
During the reporting period, prices for chicken eggs increased by 2.9%, chicken meat by 1.2%, sunflower oil by 0.9%, canned meat for baby food by 0.8%, beef and sausages by 0.7 %, lamb, black tea and rice – by 0.6%, pork, sausages, sausages, wheat flour, bread and bakery products made from various types of wheat flour – by 0.5%, butter and baby food mixtures – by 0 .4%, cottage cheese, cookies and lunches in canteens, cafes, snack bars – by 0.3%, rye bread and buckwheat – by 0.2%, hard, semi-hard and soft cheeses – by 0.1%.
Prices for vegetables and fruits increased by an average of 0.6%, for example, for tomatoes – by 9.3%, bananas – by 4.1%, cucumbers – by 1.5%, beets – by 1%. However, prices for carrots decreased by 2.8%, cabbage and apples – by 2.7%, potatoes – by 2.3%, onions – by 1.6%.
Pasta prices increased by 0.5%, sour cream, canned vegetables and fruits and berries for baby food – by 0.1%.
Rosstat also noted an increase in prices for multivitamins – by 1%, levomekol and ergoferon – by 0.8%, Corvalol and analgin – by 0.6%, allohol, nimesulide and rengalin – by 0.4%, combined analgesics – by 0. 2%. At the same time, prices for validol decreased by 0.2%.
Among hygiene items, sanitary pads increased in price – by 0.7%, toilet paper – by 0.5%, baby diapers and soap – by 0.4%, diapers for newborns – by 0.3%, washing powders – by 0.2 %, toothpastes – by 0.1%. Prices for toothbrushes decreased by 0.2%.
Prices also increased for shampoos (by 0.7%), women’s tights (by 0.6%), edged boards (by 0.5%), men’s T-shirts, T-shirts and tracksuits for children (by 0.4%), socks, sneakers for adults and children (by 0.3%), children’s jeans (by 0.2%), passenger cars of domestic and foreign brands, smartphones, particle boards, filter cigarettes – by 0.1%. At the same time, prices for electric vacuum cleaners decreased by 0.8%, televisions – by 0.2%.
Prices for motor gasoline increased by 0.5%, diesel fuel – by 1.7%.
The cost of air travel in economy class increased by 1.6%. Accommodation in 3* hotels increased in price by 0.3%, accommodation in 4* and 5* hotels, as well as vouchers to sanatoriums – by 0.2%. The cost of accommodation in hostels decreased by 0.4%, 1*-2* hotels and motels, as well as vouchers to holiday homes and boarding houses – by 0.1%. Also, prices for fashion haircuts increased by 0.5%, car washing – by 0.3%, and TV repairs – by 0.1%.
At a government meeting dedicated to budget priorities for 2024-2026, Minister of Economic Development Maxim Reshetnikov gave a forecast according to which inflation growth will slow down to 4.5% by the end of 2024, and will reach 4% in 2025.
