“Over ten months of last year, real wage growth was 7.7%, which is not bad, but taking into account inflationary processes one must compare one with the other,” Vladimir Putin said at meeting with the government. The head of state also noted that Russia’s GDP at the end of 2023, when adjusted, may be higher than 3.5%.
According to Mr. Putin, GDP growth last year was largely based on domestic consumer and investment demand. He also noted the positive dynamics of industrial production, construction, agriculture and tourism. “But as for construction – we returned to this issue several times – 110.1 million square meters. m. The commissioning of housing took place. This, of course, is an absolute record; there has never been anything like it in the history of Russia,” the president noted.
