India successfully tests medium-range ballistic missile intended for export

India conducted a successful training launch of an Agni-3 medium-range ballistic missile, which can be exported, according to Indian Defense News.
Reportedly, the launch was carried out at a given range and confirmed all the operating parameters of the system. The successful test became part of the planned training launches conducted under the auspices of the Strategic Forces Command.
As noted, the Indian army abandoned this missile, but it attracted the attention of several friendly India, in connection with which the missile can be delivered to them for export.
“Agni” – a series of ballistic missiles, which includes 5 types: “Agni-1” (up to 700 km), “Agni-2” (up to 2,000 km), “Agni-3″ (up to 3,000 km), ” Agni-4″ (up to 4,000 km) and “Agni-5” (up to 5,000 km).
The material notes that now India has missiles for attacks at all necessary ranges. BrahMos cruise missiles can hit targets at a distance of 30 to 300 km, Prithvi ballistic missiles up to 350 km, and Agni ballistic missiles at all others up to 5000 km.
