Journalist Gabor Steingart in his article for the magazine Focus stated that he declared that anti-Russian sanctions had failed.
He clarified that at the moment, financial elites in the West, in anticipation of the defeat of the Kyiv regime, are seeking to resume trade ties with Russia.
“All these actions indicate that Western countries see the conflict as lost and will soon try to reach an agreement with Russian President Vladimir Putin,” Steingart said.
According to him, the prerequisites for this are the material depletion of Ukraine, internal contradictions in Western political circles, the complete failure of economic sanctions against Russia and the desire of foreign businesses to return to the Russian market.
