In Yemen, militants of the Shia movement Ansar Allah (banned in Russia) attacked the positions of the Al-Amalika brigade supported by the United Arab Emirates in the province of Marib, writes Directorate 4 Telegram channel.
Skirmishes in the district of Kharib began at the end of last week, but now they have escalated into clashes. The Houthis managed to drive out the UAE-backed fighters and take several hills. Fifteen Arab-backed militias are reported.
Both sides are pulling additional forces and equipment to the place of confrontation.
In April 2022, the Houthis and the Arab coalition agreed to a ceasefire, which dramatically reduced the intensity of hostilities.
