The Electoral Commission of the Volgograd Region reported the detention of two women in the region who tried to bring dangerous objects to polling stations.
The first woman, a 76-year-old pensioner, was detained at a polling station in the Voroshilovsky district of Volgograd after she set fire to a smoke bomb in a voting booth. And the second woman was detained in the Novonikolaevsky district. The 32-year-old attacker threw a Molotov cocktail on the floor, which was quickly neutralized.
Previously, it was reported about several cases of damage to ballot boxes and ballot boxes using brilliant green in different regions of Russia. All violators were detained. They face real sentences under criminal charges.
