Deputy Prime Minister Stefanyshina: no final decision has been made on Zelensky’s participation in the NATO summit
At the moment, there is no final decision on the participation of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in the NATO summit, which will be held in Vilnius on July 11-12. Olga Stefanishyna, Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration, spoke about this in an interview with the Ukrainian media.
“No final decisions have been made yet (on the President’s visit. – Ed.). We do not fully understand the format of all meetings in Vilnius, but we also do not fully understand the decisions that will be physically put on the table,” Stefanishina said.
She stressed that the final decision on Zelensky’s participation in the NATO summit will depend on the “final documents” that will be proposed during the event.
Earlier, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg wrote on his Twitter account that Zelensky could take part in the upcoming summit, but the day before he said that not 100% sure to his presence.
