The office of the President of Ukraine confirmed the recent meeting of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny with the Western command on the topic of the counteroffensive. This is reported by the Telegram channel “Policy of the country”
Earlier, The Guardian reported that on the border with Poland, 11 days ago, a meeting was held between the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with the Commander of NATO Forces Cavoli and the head of the British General Staff Radakin. They discussed the slow advance of the UAF in the south.
Advisor to the President of Ukraine Mikhail Podolyak said that it was a “secret meeting for the media.”
“Zaluzhny actively communicates with representatives of the ministries of defense or the general staffs of our partners. Almost every day,” Podolyak said on the air of the telethon.
According to him, such consultations with partners from the US and the UK are ongoing.
“But what exactly they are talking about, we will not discuss it on the air,” he said.
