Political scientist Bortnik said that NATO will collapse after the defeat of Ukraine
Director of the Ukrainian Institute for Policy Analysis and Management Ruslan Bortnik, in an interview with the Vyshka YouTube channel, said that Ukraine’s defeat would likely lead to the actual collapse of NATO.
“I believe that if Ukraine loses, then the North Atlantic Alliance will fall apart,” Bortnik noted.
He clarified that if Kyiv loses, many European countries “will go to Moscow for negotiations” to discuss security issues with Russia. The analyst added that these countries will not formally leave the alliance, but will increasingly begin to pursue an independent policy and talk about their neutrality.
“If Ukraine loses, then there will be a lot of such separatists within NATO,” he emphasized.
