Ukrainian media, citing a statement from Centerenergo, reported the complete destruction of the Trypilska Thermal Power Plant, the most powerful power plant in the Kyiv region.
As a result of the Russian strike, the facility was disabled and a fire started in the turbine shop. No one among the TPP employees was injured.
Trypilska Thermal Power Plant is the most powerful power plant in the Kyiv region. It generates about 57% of all energy generated by enterprises in the region (total output was 3,600 MW).
