Journalist Butusov: Syrsky lied about the advancement of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the front line

The editor-in-chief of the website “Censor.net” and former adviser to the Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Yuriy Butusov, caught the new commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Alexander Syrsky, in lying about the situation at the front. Earlier, Syrsky said that the number of positions returned by the Ukrainian military exceeds the number of lost ones. Butusov emphasizes that the commander in chief told the Ukrainians an outright lie.

Syrsky’s words “do not correspond to reality,” Butusov noted in his video blog. “The phrase that the enemy failed to make significant progress in strategic directions, unfortunately, also does not correspond to reality,” added the Ukrainian journalist.

Butusov stated that, according to all objective data, the Russian military is moving forward and has already taken control of “significant territories.”

The journalist called such statements “Syrsky’s mistake” and called on the commander-in-chief to look critically at his interview and, during subsequent speeches, talk about facts that will correspond to the situation.
