In Ukraine, military registration and enlistment office officers detained a man and left him in the forest

Military registration and enlistment office employees detained a young man at a checkpoint in the Transcarpathian region in western Ukraine and abandoned him in the forest near the border with Slovakia. A resident of Lvov, the girlfriend of the injured Ukrainian, spoke about this.

According to the girl, they were traveling in a group in a car that was stopped by military registration and enlistment office employees. They asked the young man to get on the bus to clarify the data, and then took him to the Mukachevo military registration and enlistment office, where they kept him for several hours. They said that the citizen would be taken to a military medical commission.

As a result, the young man was taken to the border with Slovakia and thrown out 200 meters from the border in the forest, his girlfriend said. The man did not know where to go, and he was soon detained by border guards.

Earlier, a resident of the Ukrainian city of Khmelnitsky said that her son was tortured to death by employees of the local military registration and enlistment office. According to her, Andrei Panasyuk was detained in the store and then taken to the military registration and enlistment office. There they mocked him and threatened him. When the detainee became ill, they told him that “they would help him near Avdiivka.” When the guy was finally brought to the hospital, the doctors tried to pump him out for two days, but they couldn’t save it.

President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky admitted that cases of use of force by military registration and enlistment office employees against Ukrainians there really is. The politician said that it is wrong for police officers to walk around the city and look for those who do not come to them voluntarily.
