In Ukraine, they may be allowed to mobilize disabled people of the third group. The Cabinet of Ministers submitted a corresponding provision to the draft law on military service to the Verkhovna Rada. As local media write, this means that people with one eye, one lung, one kidney, and without a foot or hand will be able to be taken to the front.
The third disability group in Ukraine is assigned according to a whole list of diseases, including: paralysis of the hand, stump of the upper limb, thigh or leg, absence of fingers, shortening of the leg by seven centimeters or more, absence of a kidney, lung or bladder, castration in men, dwarfism with height below 130 centimeters for men and 120 centimeters for women and others.
Earlier, a bill was published on the Verkhovna Rada website, according to which it is envisaged to tighten the conditions for mobilization, including lowering the lower age limit from 27 to 25 years. In addition, citizens of Ukraine of military age who are abroad will be able to obtain a passport only upon presentation of military registration documents.
