In Transbaikalia, business owners will be paid to hire special operation veterans

The authorities of the Trans-Baikal Territory adopted a resolution according to which legal entities and individual entrepreneurs will be paid subsidies for the employment of veterans of the Northern Military District. As reported in its Telegram channel Deputy of the regional legislative assembly Victoria Bessonova, the amount of the subsidy will be 76,129 rubles.

“The governor signed a decree “On the priority employment of certain categories of citizens” – such employers receive a subsidy. A single telephone number 122 on this issue will be operational soon. In the meantime, you can contact the regional employment center,” Ms. Bessonova clarified.

The documents referred to by the deputy say that subsidies will be paid to the employer in the first, third and sixth months after the employment of the former participant in the special operation. Preferential categories include combat veterans who participated in military operations on the territory of the DPR, LPR and Ukraine from February 24, 2022, in the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions from September 30, 2022, PMC fighters, as well as persons from the armed forces of the DPR, the People’s Militia LPR and other military formations of the republics that have been performing combat missions since May 11, 2014.

Other regions of Russia are also introducing various measures to support participants in the special operation; for example, the Altai Territory recently adopted a law on the provision of land plots to decorated veterans of the Northern Military District.
