Police officers found a large cache with weapons and ammunition in one of the garages in the Zaporozhye region. About it informed member of the main council of the administration of the Zaporizhzhya region and chairman of the movement “We are with Russia” Vladimir Rogov in his Telegram channel.
“In the cabinets and the pit of the garage, law enforcement officers found 3 Kalashnikov assault rifles, 4 F-1 grenades, almost 1,500 rounds of 5.45 mm caliber and a uniform of the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” the message says.
It is specified that the garage belongs to a veteran of the Ukrainian “anti-terrorist operation” in Donbass, the man is located on the territory controlled by Kyiv. According to Rogov, everything found was confiscated. Now the issue of initiating a criminal case is being decided.
In addition, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Zaporozhye region today also reported about the discovery of a cache of ammunition in a forest belt. A grenade launcher of rocket-propelled assault grenades (RShG), two anti-tank mines, 180 rounds of 5.45 caliber, four rounds for an underbarrel grenade launcher and TNT checkers with a total weight of 4.5 kg were seized from the cache. All ammunition was taken to a safe place and defused.
January 23, RIA Novosti and Interfax, citing sources reported about the discovery in the village of Kudryashovka, Kremensky district of the LPR, a warehouse with explosives weighing 306 kg. In addition, five tank shells, two high-explosive fragmentation shells and 225 Ukrainian-made 4C20U dynamic protection elements were found in the cache. The law enforcement agencies told the agencies that the ammunition and explosives were stored by a citizen of Ukraine, who at the time of the start of the JMD served in one of the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
