On the second day of the Russian presidential elections, as reported by local branches of the Russian Central Election Commission, turnout in the Zaporozhye region is 72.38%, in the Kherson region – 77.7%. Voting mainly takes place in local areas and in residential premises.

The Chairman of the Kherson Election Commission, Marina Zakharova, said that there were no violations during the elections in the region. “As noted by observers who work at polling stations, including international observers, no violations were identified,” she said.

In the DPR, according to the local election commission, turnout was 69.28%. An armored car leaves from the Central Election Commission to the front-line zones: the accompanying people are equipped with bulletproof vests, helmets and first aid kits. Early voting in front-line polling stations has been going on in the region since February 25. Chairman of the LPR Electoral Commission Elena Kravchenko said that leaflets calling on people not to go to the polls were found in the front-line areas of the region.
