In the Zaporizhia region, they announced the construction of a fortification line by the Armed Forces of Ukraine

Ukrainian forces in the Zaporozhye region changed tactics, starting to build fortifications in the part of the region they control, informed Chairman of the movement “We are together with Russia” Vladimir Rogov in a comment to “RIA Novosti”.

“If, literally until recently, the enemy was preparing for an offensive, now their tactics have changed dramatically. The Ukrainian side began to largely prepare for defense, urgently began to build fortified areas, build fortifications,” he said.

According to him, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have not carried out fortification work in this direction since the spring of 2022. Now the Ukrainian military is preparing several lines of defense, including, among other things, the nearest suburb of Zaporozhye.

At the same time, on January 9, Rogov declared on the preparation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine for forcing the Dnieper in the area of ​​the Kakhovka reservoir. The Ukrainian side, he noted then, expected to approach the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant or Energodar.

Former Russian President Vladimir Putin named positive dynamics of the special operation. “Everything is developing within the framework of the plan of the Ministry of Defense and the General Staff. And I hope that our fighters will please us more than once with their results of combat work,” he said.

Russia’s special operation in Ukraine began on February 24, 2022. Putin named its goals the protection of the inhabitants of Donbass, as well as the demilitarization and denazification of Ukraine. During the special operation at the end of September, the LPR, DPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions became part of Russia.
