The investigating authorities of the Investigative Committee of Russia in the Zaporozhye region opened a criminal case on attempted murder of acting. Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Public Utilities of the Region. About it reported in the department’s press office.
On May 12, in Melitopol, near the house where an employee of the military-civilian administration lives, an unknown person planted an improvised explosive device in a trash can. It exploded when the deputy minister left the entrance, according to the investigator.
According to the department, the official received mine-explosive injuries, he was hospitalized.
A criminal case was initiated under Part 3 of Art. 30, p.p. “b, e” part 2 of Art. 105, part 1 of Art. 222.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (attempted murder in a generally dangerous way). Investigators are conducting operational-search activities.
May 11 became known about the assassination attempt on the chairman of the court of the Zaporozhye region in Melitopol. The judge himself was not injured, that two people from the guard received injuries. The day before, an attempt on the head of the police department in the urban-type settlement of Kirillovka had been thwarted.
