In the Voronezh region, temporary accommodation will be prepared for residents of a number of districts of the Belgorod region

In the Voronezh region, temporary accommodation centers (TAPs) will be prepared for residents of the Shebekinsky and Graivoronsky districts of the Belgorod region, whose territories are regularly shelled by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This was announced by the Governor of the region Alexander Gusev.

He noted that on May 31, children from the Belgorod region came to the Voronezh camp “Landysh” for a vacation. Gusev did not rule out that on June 1, on Children’s Day, he would personally check the quality of accommodation and the work of the institution’s staff. He added that residents of the border regions may need help from the region even after the end of the shift.

“Therefore, I instructed my employees to quickly prepare a temporary accommodation center, if, of course, Belgorod residents have such a request,” wrote Gusev in his Telegram channel.

The governor emphasized that there would be enough places in the camp for all the children of the Voronezh region who would like to.

Earlier today, Governor of the Belgorod Region Vyacheslav Gladkov announced on the evacuation of children from the Shebekinsky and Grayvoronsky districts. According to him, today, May 31, the first 300 children will go to Voronezh.

This was announced after a sabotage and reconnaissance group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine penetrated the territory of the region.

The Belgorod region is regularly shelled by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. According to Gladkov, over the past day in the Shebekinsky urban district was released 215 shells from Ukraine. As a result of the shelling of the city of Shebekino, one person was killed, two more were injured.

In the Belgorod region, a high (“yellow”) level of terrorist danger is indefinitely. Since October 19, 2022, by decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin, the average level of response has been set in the region. The same regime operates in seven other subjects of the Russian Federation – Crimea, Sevastopol, Krasnodar Territory, Kursk, Voronezh, Bryansk and Rostov regions.
