In the United States were dissatisfied with the Pentagon’s confidence in the victory of Russia

The statement by the head of the Pentagon Chiefs of Staff Committees, Mark Milley, that Russia would inevitably win the conflict in Ukraine, angered former US Marine Corps officer Scott Ritter.
On the air of the Judging Freedom YouTube channel, Ritter recalled that earlier Milli, speaking in the US Congress, had repeatedly spoken about the superiority of the Russian army over the Ukrainian one.
According to Ritter, the US authorities are no longer talking about whether Russia will defeat Ukraine, but discussing when it will happen.
He was also surprised by Milley’s claim that the US would have to “double its defense budget” to offset the benefits Russia would receive after the victory. Ritter recalled that US military spending already stands at about $900 billion.
Earlier, Milli questioned the achievement of Ukraine’s goals in the conflict with Russia and Kyiv’s readiness to achieve the “return” of the territories in the short term.
