The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) of the United States of America claims that some 11 people, including Russians, created the Forsage financial pyramid and attracted more than $ 300 million.
According to the US authorities, the scheme began work in 2020, and Vladimir Okhotnikov, Mikhail Sergeev, Sergey Maslakov and Jane Doe (model Lolo Ferrari) took part in its launch. With the help of the pyramid, investors were offered smart contracts concluded through Ethereum, Tron and Binance.
As a result, four founders of Forsage, who, according to the US authorities, live in the Russian Federation, Georgia and Indonesia, were accused of the criminal scheme, and a group of people with US citizenship is also accused. The American regulator claims that with the help of the created pyramid, the defendants attracted funds from millions of people around the world.
Meanwhile, as informs Prime agency, there is a battle of attrition going on in the cryptocurrency market right now. That is, players buy cryptocurrency to the maximum, without obvious reasons, in particular, the lack of a predicted increase in their value.
Bitcoin is still the most popular among cryptocurrencies. It rose in price by the end of last week by nearly 4 thousand dollars, now the price has fallen by 1.3 thousand and is 23.3 thousand dollars.

Bitcoin, according to forecasts, should continue to decline, striving for a mark of 19 thousand dollars. However, the price declines slowly because “there are always more bulls than bears in the market, and as a result, price movement down is always a little difficult, especially near important psychological levels, such as $20,000.”
