In the State Duma, the chairman of the committee on health protection will be replaced

Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Health Protection Dmitry Khubezov decided to leave this post, but he will retain the mandate of the deputy. Instead, the committee will be headed by his deputy, Badma Bashankaev. Khubezov himself said this on May 31 at a meeting of the United Russia General Council. The party supported his decision.

After the start of mobilization, Khubezov volunteered to volunteer for a special operation, he worked in a military hospital near Lisichansk. “Now there is nothing more important than protecting our country on the battlefield. When I left for the first time [из зоны боевых действий], I promised that I would come when they called me to the battlefield. Our children are sitting in the trenches, they are giving their lives. I have to be there, ”Khubezov said. Bashankaev thanked Khubezov: “Dmitry Anatolyevich and I are both oncocoloproctologists. I studied with him in the operating room. He taught me politics. He is a mentor and a patriot.”
