According to Dutch News, the Court of Appeal in The Hague ruled to invalidate the actions of the Dutch government, which distinguished between refugees from Ukraine and asylum seekers from other countries.
It is clarified that earlier the authorities of the Netherlands granted the right to Ukrainian refugees to remain in the country without going through the procedure for considering an application for asylum. In addition, the Amsterdam administration allowed Ukrainian refugees to get a job immediately after arrival.
The court ruling emphasizes that other groups of refugees do not have such rights, and the state is obliged to treat everyone equally.
