In the LNR reported five dead in the shelling of a poultry farm

As a result of the shelling of the armed forces of Ukraine (APU) of a poultry farm in the village of Karpaty of the LPR, five people were killed. About it reported representation of the LPR in the joint center for control and coordination (JCCC) in its Telegram channel.

“The shelling of the village of Karpaty (Perevalsky district, LPR) by the armed formations of Ukraine, according to preliminary information, which killed 24 people (5 people were killed and 19 injured), was carried out using HIMARS MLRS,” the report says.

The department clarified that the Armed Forces of Ukraine fired four rockets at the village. As a result, the construction camp and the building of the poultry farm were damaged.

Formerly JCCC informed about four dead as a result of the shelling of a poultry farm in the Carpathians. According to the center, they were all builders. The incident took place on the night of May 31st.

The village of Karpaty has been under the control of the LPR since 2014. On September 30, 2022, the LPR, along with the DPR, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions, became part of Russia. Martial law has been introduced in the regions since October 19.

The LPR authorities regularly report shelling from Ukraine. The last time the Armed Forces of Ukraine attacked the territory of the republic on May 28 – under fire hit the city of Diamond. As a result, three people were killed and seven others were injured, including one child. In addition, the gas pipeline and power lines were damaged. May 29 infrastructure facilities have been restored.
