The Armed Forces of Ukraine (APU) lost more than 3,500 people in the Kherson direction. About this agency “RIA Novosti” told Kirill Stremousov, deputy head of the military-civilian administration (CAA) of the Kherson region.
“Now, according to our information, Ukrainian troops have already lost more than 3,500 people,” Stremousov said. The deputy head of the regional military administration emphasized that the counteroffensive attempts had failed, there was no real progress in the directions. In addition, according to him, there have never been Russian troops in the settlements announced about taking control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Since the end of August, the Armed Forces of Ukraine began an attempt to counteroffensive in the Mykolaiv and Kherson regions in three directions. The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation confirmed the information and stated that Russian troops repelled the attack.
