Also, changes were made to the decree of the head of the DPR “On the temporary procedure for the use of cash Ukrainian hryvnia on the territory of the DPR.” Both decrees come into force on September 5. It is specified that until September 6, non-cash conversion of cash hryvnia will be carried out at the rate of 1.5 rubles. for 1 hryvnia.
Previously, the hryvnia against the ruble changed in the Kherson region and part of the Zaporozhye region, which is under the control of the Russian military. The ratio of the Ukrainian hryvnia to the Russian ruble was 1.5 to one.
Also at the end of July, the authorities of the Kherson region declared plans to withdraw the Ukrainian hryvnia from circulation. Kirill Stremousov, deputy head of the military-civilian administration of the region, specified that only the Russian ruble would be used in the region.
