Russian air defense forces destroyed a Ukrainian drone in the sky over the Bryansk region. About it reported Governor Alexander Bogomaz in his Telegram channel.
“The Ukrainian Armed Forces tried to carry out a terrorist attack using a UAV. Air defense forces of the Russian Ministry of Defense destroyed an aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicle over the Bryansk region. There were no casualties or damage. Operational and emergency services are working on the spot,” he wrote.
On the night of October 3, Bogomaz also reported about an attempt by the Ukrainian Armed Forces to attack the region using a drone. Air defense systems shot it down over the Trubchevsky district of the Bryansk region. As a result, no one was injured and there was no damage to the city. The Ministry of Defense noted that the drone was destroyed on October 2 at approximately 23:30 Moscow time.
On the afternoon of October 3, Bogomaz reported the destruction of another drone – over the Starodub municipal district. As a result, no one was injured either. According to the Ministry of Defense, the incident happened around 15:00 Moscow time.
In the Bryansk region, a high (“yellow”) level of terrorist threat remains in effect indefinitely. Since October 19, 2022, by decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin, a “medium level of response” has been established in the region.
