In the Bryansk region, the wreckage of a downed drone fell on a house under construction

The wreckage of a drone shot down in the Bryansk region fell on a house under construction, informed Governor of the region Alexander Bogomaz in his Telegram channel.

“According to updated data, as a result of a repulsed attack in the Bryansk region, fragments of a UAV fell on a house under construction … A special commission will assess the damage, the damage will be compensated to the owner of the home,” he wrote.

In total, Bogomaz today reported two attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. During the first of them at night was attacked nine UAVs in the territory of the Starodubsky municipal district, all drones were shot down by an air defense system. Later, the governor reported the attack of another drone, it was shot down over the Bryansk region. No one was hurt in either attack.

February 3 APU inflicted missile attack on the territory of the same district, the air defense system managed to intercept all four missiles, Bogomaz reported. At the beginning of the month, the governor noted that since the beginning of the special operation, the Bryansk region had been shelled more than 270 times, as a result of which four people were killed and 22 were injured. For the damage caused, as the Bryansk governor said, assistance in the amount of 4.4 million rubles was provided from the local budget.

After the start of the special operation, the Ukrainian military began to regularly shell the border regions of Russia. Currently, the Bryansk region has a “yellow” level of terrorist threat. On February 3, it was made indefinite. In addition, a “medium response” regime has been introduced in the region. The decree on this was signed by Russian President Vladimir Putin on October 19, 2022.
