A Ukrainian UAV attacked the territory of the regional electrical network (RES) in the Trubchevsky district of the Bryansk region, said the head of the region Alexander Bogomaz.
“As a result of the drone attack on the territory of the distribution zone in the Trubchevsky district, there is destruction of an administrative building and a car. There were no casualties,” he wrote on his Telegram channel.
Bogomaz also this morning declared about the shelling of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) of the Suzemsky district. There were no casualties, but power supply was partially disrupted in the village of Suzemka. By 14.00 Moscow time, emergency repair teams had completely restored it.
The governor later added that railroad tracks were also damaged. He clarified that while the infrastructure is being restored, residents of the Suzemsky district will be able to travel by bus.
After the start of the special operation, the Ukrainian military began to regularly shell the border regions of Russia. The last time the Ukrainian military tried to shell the Bryansk region on December 14. The air defense system worked over the city of Klintsy. According to Bogomaz, the fired missiles were shot down, but the power supply of the village of Ardon was damaged by the fragments of the missiles. Less than two hours later, the residents of the village had light again.
Currently, the Bryansk region has a “yellow” level of terrorist threat. On December 16, it was extended until January 4, 2023. In addition, a “medium response” regime was introduced in the region. A decree to this effect was signed by Russian President Vladimir Putin on October 19.
