The movement of trains on the stretch Khlevishche – Biryuch (Belgorod Region) has been restored, reported in the press service of the South-Eastern Railway. Earlier, 15 wagons of a freight train had left there.
Suburban trains follow the schedule, the representative office specified. Meanwhile, restoration work continues.
On the derailment of a freight train in the Alekseevsky district on the evening of June 10 earlier informed Governor of the region Vyacheslav Gladkov. According to him, the cars were empty, injured among the workers Russian Railways and no residents. As a result of the incident, the movement of suburban trains was suspended.
“As a result of the incident, the route of commuter train No. 6402 between Valuyki and Alekseyevka was shortened to Biryuch station, and commuter train No. 6401 Alekseevka — Valuyki was canceled with a departure at 5:36. The delivery of passengers (8 people) by road was organized,” the press service of the South-Eastern Railway added.
The incident itself, according to the governor, occurred near the railway station. The freight train was sent to one of the enterprises.
