The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) fired at the Shebekinsky urban district of the Belgorod region. About it informed Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov in his Telegram channel.
“The Shebekinsky urban district came under fire. There were no casualties. There is a shell hit on the territory of an industrial enterprise – windows are broken, a fence is damaged,» the report says.
Gladkov clarified that now the Armed Forces of Ukraine are shelling the territory again. Operational services are at the site of the destruction, a door-to-door detour is being carried out.
Almost 40 minutes later, Gladkov informedthat the village of Vyazovoe, Krasnoyarzhsky district, fell under shelling from the Ukrainian troops. According to him, there are no victims or injured. The governor of the Belgorod region said that one private house was damaged as a result of the shelling. “The family with many children was relocated to a safe place,” he specified. In addition, gas supply and power lines were damaged.
On October 19, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree introducing a “medium response” regime in eight border regions – Crimea, Sevastopol, Krasnodar Territory, Belgorod, Bryansk, Voronezh, Kursk and Rostov regions (some of which were subjected to shelling from Ukraine).
In addition, a “yellow” terrorist alert level has been in effect in several regions since mid-April, which has since been repeatedly extended. The last time the high level of terrorist threat in the Belgorod region was extended on December 21. It will run until January 5th.
