In Texas, Biden was accused of direct revenge on the state

The chairman of the Texas Railroad Commission, which acts as an oil regulator, Christy Kraddick accused US President Joe Biden of taking revenge on the state, which “allowed itself” to take measures to protect the southern border with Mexico to combat illegal migration.
Kraddick said that only revenge can explain the head of state’s decision to suspend the approval of new LNG export contracts.
“These actions are a deliberate undermining of America’s strength and national security, as well as direct retaliation against Texas for holding the line on our southern border,” he said.
However, the official added that such pressure will not stop Texas from continuing efforts to protect its border and economy.
