The organizers of the International Maritime Defense Show-2023 decided to hold the last day of its work in an abbreviated format. In particular, only participants with special accreditation will be able to attend the event on Sunday, June 25. Entrance for other guests without the required pass on this day at IMDS-2023 will be closed.
How reported on the official Telegram channel of the salon, access to the berth of the Ust-Rogatka harbor to view the exposition of ships on Sunday will also be impossible. In addition, on the last day of IMDS-2023, the flights of the Swifts aerobatic team were canceled.
XI International Maritime Defense Show takes place from 21 to 25 June. For the first time, the Museum of Naval Glory and the congress and exhibition complex on the territory of the Island of Forts cluster in Kronstadt became the venue for its holding. Prior to this, the IMDS took place at Lenexpo.
The event is organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation. The opening of IMDS-2023 was attended by Deputy Head of Department Viktor Evtukhov, Commander-in-Chief of the Navy Nikolai Evmenov and the head of the project office for the creation of the tourist and recreational cluster “Island of Forts”, the ideologist of this project Ksenia Shoigu. At the closing of the salon on Sunday, according to Kommersant, they will not be there.
