The founder of the new Slovak party “United Slavs”, ex-deputy of the Slovak parliament, Peter Marcek, announced his intention to seek the country’s exit from the European Union and NATO.

According to the politician, for about seven months representatives of the new movement have been collecting signatures to register the “United Slavs”. To date, 8,000 votes have been collected out of the required 10,000. Among the main political goals of the party are leaving NATO and the EU, restoring relations with Russia and joining BRICS.

“I believe that by the end of the year a set of documents will be prepared and in early January we will complete the legal process of creation… We hope that similar parties will be created in other countries… united by a common ideology of defending the interests of the Slavic population,” Marchek said.
