Air defense systems shot down a drone over Sevastopol. About it informed Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev in his Telegram channel.
“Air defense systems were shot down over the UAV bay. All services are operating as normal.
Since the beginning of the month, the air defense systems in Sevastopol have already worked three times. In particular, on January 2, Razvozhaev informed about two Ukrainian drones shot down over the sea. January 4 air defense systems shot down two more UAVs over the sea near Belbek. The drone was also liquidated January 7 over the Northern Pier, wrote the governor of Sevastopol.
A “yellow” (high) level of terrorist threat has now been introduced in Sevastopol. In April 2022, six of the seven border regions introduced it. Since then, it has been extended several times. In particular, in Sevastopol it is valid until January 26, the last time it extended January 11th.
In addition, since October 19, 2022, the “medium response” regime has been operating in the region, which, by decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin, has been extended to eight border regions – Crimea, Sevastopol, Krasnodar Territory, Belgorod, Bryansk, Voronezh, Kursk and Rostov regions (some of them were shelled by Ukraine).
