In Russian hotels, the all-inclusive system will include unlimited alcohol

Russian-made alcoholic drinks will be provided in unlimited quantities in hotels operating on the “all inclusive” and “ultra all inclusive” systems. About it informed TASS with reference to the placement rules approved by Rosstandart.
“Russian-made alcoholic drinks are presented in unlimited quantities at the buffet for lunch and dinner, as well as at the point of additional food: beer – at least one type, dry / semi-sweet red / white wine – at least three types, strong alcohol – not less than less than two types and cocktails based on it,” the message says.
In the case of ultra all inclusive hotels, guests should be able to choose from at least five types of strong alcohol, both domestic and imported, as well as at least seven types of cocktails based on strong alcohol. In addition, these five-star hotels should offer sparkling wine for breakfast.
It is specified that these requirements were first enshrined in Russia. They will come into effect on June 30, 2023.
The standards also regulate the operation of bars in all-inclusive and ultra-all-inclusive hotels. In particular, in hotels of categories “three”, “four” and “five stars”, which operate on an “all inclusive” basis, there must be at least two, three and four bars, respectively. In the case of ultra all inclusive hotels, at least two, four and six bars are provided for similar categories, respectively. At the same time, at least one bar in four- and five-star hotels with an ultra all-inclusive system must work around the clock.
The standard also contains requirements for the operation of restaurants. In particular, the assortment of food on the buffet should not be repeated more than once a week. Ultra All Inclusive hotels must provide a dietary and vegetarian menu.
The standards for the provision of services in the “all inclusive” format were approved in January 2023. At that time, Rosstandart noted that hotels previously independently determined the list and quality of services provided, which could mislead consumers. Now the rules will be governed by a standard that sets out requirements for the appearance of the room, the infrastructure of the hotel or inn, food and entertainment.
