The government of Poland considers the maneuvers of the army of Belarus and PMC “Wagner” a provocation
Zbigniew Hoffman, a spokesman for the Polish government on security issues, said that the joint maneuvers of the Belarusian army and Wagner PMC are a provocation. In an interview with the Polish news agency PAP, he described the exercises as “an undoubted provocation.” And the reciprocal transfer of Polish troops to the eastern border, according to him, is designed to “deter a potential aggressor.”
The Ministry of Defense of Belarus and PMC “Wagner”, as previously reported, agreed on a roadmap for the transfer of experience. In Belarus, special operations forces units are being trained together with the “Wagnerites”. During the week, the units will work out combat training tasks at the Brestsky training ground. The goal is to increase the training and coordination of the army of Belarus “in the interests of ensuring the military security of the state.”
