In May, the Federal Customs Service transferred 545 billion rubles to the Russian budget – Kommersant

As a result of May, the Federal Customs Service (FCS) sent 545 billion rubles to the Russian budget, Ruslan Davydov, acting head of the FCS, said. In total, from January to May, revenues to the budget for January-May amounted to 2.325 trillion rubles.

“We have had a very successful May this year. We collected payments for 545 billion rubles. for the month of May, this is more than the planned target by almost 40 billion rubles. Most importantly, we reversed the trend, that is, in January-April we lagged behind the payment schedule, and in May there was an increase in payments. First of all, due to imports,” Mr. Davydov said in a conversation with reporters (quoted from “Prime”).

Ruslan Davydov also said that from January to May, the total amount of receipts amounted to 2.325 trillion rubles. He noted that this amount is “slightly less than the target.” Mr. Davydov added that he “did not want to dramatize the situation.”

In mid-May, the Ministry of Finance published data from which it follows that in April the budget deficit amounted to more than 1 trillion rubles. In total, in January-April, the budget deficit has already grown to 3.424 trillion rubles, which is more than the annual plan for this indicator of 2.925 trillion rubles.
